Have you ever been depressed after doing the right thing?

How do you bounce back after making a decision you know is the right thing to do, even though it's a difficult change?

I'm leaving a toxic job and boss for a much better situation. I should be elated, yet I feel... off.

I feel angry, sad, uncertain, and anxious because it feels like I was pushed out of a job I used to love. And of course wondering if I did the right thing, even though deep down I know I need this, if nothing else for the sake of my sanity and well being.

Have any of you faced a situation like that? And how do you shake off feeling blah?
It does NOT have to be job related, but any situation where you did something that was hard and it impacted your life

Thank you everyone for your feedback, support, and listening. I'm still feeling a little down and off, but I'll bounce back eventually. I will be starting my new position next Monday! I just have to make it through one more week of torture 😕
