A friend is sick and keeps throwing up?

My friend is in Jersey visiting his family, and got sick.. but he can't go to the doctor.

He keeps throwing up. Yesterday he said his noise was dry and he had a really bad headache.

He's already drinking a lot of fluids.

Does anyone know anything else that might be able to help him?

Has he taken gravol? why can't he go to the doctor? . Usually peppermint tea or anything with peppermint is really good for nausea so get him to have some of that tea.

He took Advil yesterday and it helped a lot.

why can't he go to a doctor? there are walk-in clinics you can go to lots of places if you aren't around your regular healthcare providers.

He had the dry noise three days ago. And yesterday he got the headache and upset stomach.. and started throwing up.

well, if it keeps up for more than a week without signs of getting better, then he needs to get to a doctor. in the meantime, tell him to try going to a walk-in clinic, and otherwise, just take it easy. I think tylenol can help reduce fevers as well as help headaches.

Alright. He took Advil yesterday and said it really helped with his headache, but then it wore off.

yeah, he should keep taking it as much as you're allowed according to whatever's on the bottle if it's helping.

Sounds like the flu or food poisoning, in which case there's not much you can do.

What else does he have besides vomiting, in terms of symptoms?

A fever, headache, upset stomach, and dry noise.

sounds like the stomach flu, does he have diarrhea? Or like every time he eats he pukes?

He came keep stuff down, but he keeps throwing up mucus.

then it's not an upset stomach, exactly. Tell him to get his index finger and thumb and press slightly next to his nose, like about 2 inches under his eyes and an inch away from his nose. If it hurts he has a sinus infection, I'm not a doctor tho. He should really look for a doctor or something.

I think before you try to throw meds and remedies at him you should try and figure out what exactly is wrong with him, or take him to someone who can.

That's bad because without an official diagnosis anything you do to help could be making things worse.
