I'm 5'10 f I weigh 206lbs & my goal weight eventually is to be at 160lbs... I've been focusing on losing weight in a way & pace thats sustainable for me. The past month I started weighing myself once a week & have been losing about 1lb a week... & I've been consistently dropping so I'm proud of myself. WELL Yesterday I weighed myself in the evening & was at 213lbs then I weighed myself again this morning & I weighed 206lbs... (which was the weight I was expecting to be at) ... I literally had to stop myself from having a mental break down.. because the past 3 weeks I had been eating out because of festivities & not on point but I had still been losing weight so I figured like maybe all that finally caught up to me.. lol see in the past 6months I've lost just about 30lbs by intuitively eating & moving.. i do strength training, H. I. I. T, Yoga, and if I only have energy for a brisk walk I do that... but I move. With eating I try to eat high protein/fiber & low carb... again its very loose & on days I feel like eating the creaminess alfredo I do that with a phat piece of chicken & veggies on the side cuz BALANCE.
Superb Opinion
That's quite normal to fluctuate quite a bit. Most of the time it relates to water retention. I tend to fluctuate +/- 3kgs (~6.7lbs) in a single day even though I'm only 172lbs.
Also if you go low carb and/or low sodium, your body tends to retain less water but if you suddenly consume a lot of carbs or sodium after that, you'll tend to retain a lot more water all of a sudden. Yet that's just temporary water weight, not body fat.
