Sugar is like heroin. You MUST avoid it when you are doing a low carb diet. If you get a taste for something sweet, find an artificially sweetened food that will satisfy your taste without putting sugar in your body. Years ago, I drank diet root beer when I wanted something sweet.
Put a very unflattering picture of yourself on the refirgerator/freezer door to remind youself of why you are doing this.
Weigh yourself everyday and record your weight on a graph. On the calendar, make note of those days when you backslide and then compare that to your weight loss progress or regression. That will motivate you.
Don't buy carbs. Don't have them in your house. That just makes it easier to "cheat."

Dont rely on a healthy diet all the time and restrict your cravings. You can still have those with your diet and still loose weight. Having a small amount of ice Cream or unhealthy food weekly basis , making it 20% of your diet would do less harm than eating 2 bowls of ice cream straight away.

You need to have some carbs. Eat more protein to fill you up.
