What is the key to get a flat stomach?

Is it possible to achieve this by eating clean and exercise or no matter how much you do this some people just cannot have a flat stomach? I'm not talking excess skin either but the elimination of fat

In order for you to get a flat stomach, first you HAVE to understand how human body works, without this simple knowledge you won't be able to get any results. What is fat? fat is an energy that your body stored for a rainy season so to speak. How do you lose fat? you have to allow your body to eat itself (literally). How do you do that? you have to eat bare minimum, you have to give your body time to consume all the energy (fat) that it stored and just like gaining muscle mass, loosing fat is an uncomfortable and sometimes even painful and very calculated process. If your body is not suffering for days, weeks or months on end, you are not doings things right. Very basic formula is this, to gain muscle mass you have to consume more food than your body is able to burn, to lose weight it is opposite, you have to eat a lot less food, so your body can burn whatever reserves it has stored up. At the end of the day, it will be mind over matter, it will be your battle against your own mind. How much would you be able to tolerate suffering and discomfort? when your body is screaming FOOD! how discipline are you? are you doing so for yourself (👍) or for someone else (👎) because if you are trying to impress someone or you doing it for others, you already failed even before you started.

Also how long would it take for a change of diet (very healthy now) to strengthen your immune system? Does it take weeks or months?

1. No lol of course not. Again very basic explanation how muscle growth happens, when you go to the gym you are ripping and damaging your muscle cells by lifting weights, then when you eat correct foods and neutrinos you are repairing your muscles and that's what gives a muscle growth. Imagine a stick and you broke that stick in half, now you have two sticks and then you placed a third special repairing stick between them to fix it, now after you repaired that stick, your stick is now bigger and you repeat that process again and again and again until you reach whatever your muscle mass goal is.
2. Protein by itself won't do you any good, it has to be a combination and variety of many other things that you also have to involve. Let's say you ate a protein, great! now you have to eat something that would maximize a brake down and absorption of that protein a. k. a. eating certain and specific vegetables and fruits. On top of that you also have to compliment certain liquid to help with your digestive process.
3. The amount of time depends on your unique body structure and your metabolism. Conversion from eating beyond dangerous junk food to eating Super healthy food will happen immediately and if you continue that conversion you will feel effect in less than a week. It takes roughly speaking 50 hours for your body to fully process everything that you ate. Let's say you ate a full cheeseburger meal right now, it will take again, roughly speaking 2 full days to completely digest everything that you ate 2 days ago. But Again, A LOT depends on your metabolism, your system, your body structure, your height and your weight. 2 days is a rough average estimate.

you need to do cardio to lose the fat. There are many cardio exercises you can so. Running, bike riding, elliptical machine. Stair climber and others. Anything that raises you heart rate. Plenty of info on the internet about resting heart rate and target heart rate.

You need to have a high protein diet. There are diets out there that specifically metabolize fat. The internet will have lots of info.

You also need to do some weight training. You want to strengthen your core and also your abdominal muscles and lower back

Not me. I've had a flat stomach and just gained a bit of weight, an extra 14 pounds but right now its like hard fat. I have a lot of natural muscle in my body and I think the fat is behind the muscle or something
