I've been building my muscles and now I get hungry a lot faster. Even when I drink lemon coffee to kill my appetite I feel hungry and I've started eating breakfast cause waiting until lunch for food is harder for me now than it was a few months ago.
More muscle mass requires more energy (burns more calories). A lot of weight loss that comes from exercising isn't simply due to the actual time you spend exercising, but rather the fact that you're building muscle mass. Having more muscle mass means you're using more energy all the time, even when you're sleeping. This is one of the big reasons men tend to have an easier time losing and maintaining weight than women do.

Your body always tries to reach homeostasis. When you workout and push yourself, your body will take a few days to catch up. So once it catches up you will be hungry moreso than before to fill the void of calories you burned. The key is to realize that those biochemical signals like ghrelin and leptin will come and go. You need to establish a new baseline for yourself and that takes time
