Ok, I was worse off than you. I smoked like a chimney from the time I was 16 to when I was 23- like 2 or 3 packs a day actually. It's really hard to quite, but I recommend nicotine gum to wean you off. IT really works if it's something you really want. Just be prepared for horrible mood swings and being quick to anger. But use the gum, and create a new habit for yourself. My girlfriend and I would make macaroni picture frames- even though it was silly it definitely got my mind off of smoking.

It will take 2 weeks to really break the addiction. Spend as muc time as you can outdoors and away from temptation, have friends take you to outdoor places where there aren't any cigarettes...You might gain wieght because most people eat too much while going through withdrawal, but it will be worth it.
Good for you girl! I know how hard it is from my grandma. She was smoking since she was 13 and quit at 60. It was so hard and it's takes a lot of strength and will-power. So good for you! keep it up :)

Try to go 1 hours without smoking. Then try to go 4 hours. Make it a day.
Go from 1 day to 3 days. Then from 1 week to 1 month. You have to be strong and never give in to your cravings. All it takes is one to screw it all up. Stop buying them.Big Kudos to you for quitting! Keep up the good work.
