You really should speak to a doctor if you're havng so much pain while working out. That's not normal. Also, weight loss is said to be 80% diet 20% exercise. Don't forget that what you eat has a strong bearing on the situation. It's not all just walks. But really, talk to a doctor, there could be something wrong and likely he'll tell you to do something lighter or join a gym that has machines that help you burn calories without much stress on your joints. But again he's likely going to strongly suggest a diet change above all else.

get good shoes, talk to a doctor about getting temporary back support (kind of like the industrial back supports). you can buy them at places like kmart, target or even online.
Just walk and have a proper diet.
If your stop eating crap foods and consistently walk for 2-3 hours per day, you will lose weight and it will put less pressure on your back.
Run a lap, lots of strecthing (hip and lower back ones) it may hurt but it will make your core, lower back, hip stronger. comfy shoes helps too.
see a doctor. you need to figure out the cause of the pain

Massage!- heat work so well for the lower back- ice might work too for hip... Some pilates/yoga exercises help with lower back issues... depends if its muscle tightness...
make sure you have good shoes, and if that doesn't work maybe try doctor ?
