It's not great for you, but I doubt it will have any long term, lasting damage. At the worst, it will probably give you a headache when you go through it, but I understand that's not how you want to start your day. Is there any way to get a ride to the bus stop? Or is there anyone you can ride with to school instead of taking the bus?
You would be surprised how strong the human body is. My opinion is to keep a healthy.diet and you will be fine. Your body adapts to the enviroment to help you survive so you should bee fine.
Your body is pretty strong. Just make sure you eat a healthy diet and stay active. Keep your immune system strong. These fumes are all around you by now, not just in this area.
It probably won't kill but damage organs try to back away when the bus pulls up and hold in your breath
