Guys honestly, what's your reaction with a girl with bad face acne?

I have really bad acne on my face, I feel so ugly at times. Can you please help me? :(

Thank you guys! I've tried like everything. I even went to a dermatologist, took accutane for 3 months...nothing :( I never really took it on, until this guy I had really liked said my face is totally f**ked up :/ sigh*

Personally, I have some acne, but Its not really bad. By some I mean very little, to almost non existent.

If it is like that ^ on the girl, then, it doesn't bother me.

My best friend (female), happens to have acne, and does a lot of covering from the scarring on her face.. but if she didn't have the acne, I would consider something with her.

Although, it doesn't mean she is 'ugly'. Acne, grosses me out, even feeling a bump on my skin (which eventually becomes a pimple) bugs me, and I end up washing my face 20 times a day over it..

It really depends.. there is a lot to throw in to the equation.

If she has a pretty shaped face and pretty eyes it doesn't really matter. I've had crushes on girls with acne before and wanted them to be my girlfriend but it didn't work out.

there's this medication - only your dermatologist is likely to prescribe it - Isotretinoin. It works wonders. It's not a first line treatment. But if your acne is bad enough then that's what they use.

It's more of a last resort as it has some fairly serious side effects. Talk to your dermatologist though. They're really the only ones to give you the proper advice. Bear in mind, they like to start with the milder things first and work there way up. This is so that they can try and get a result from medications that are less strong with fewer side effects. So be patient! You'll probably have to try a few things.

That guy is an a**hole for saying something like that to you! You shouldn't worry about it too much. I have really bad acne as well and my boyfriend still loves me with or without pimples. You just need to find the guy that can look beyond appearances. :)

I see right through it. Most people break out form time to time. I often see girls with acne and you can tell they're insecure about it. I sometimes feel like stopping them and telling them they're beautiful just so they won't be XD

It happens, and some girls have a pretty solid facial structure that is attractive. The epidermis is a bitch. You can try ProActive or some other acne cleaning thing.

I see that Age is under 18, this is normal. When I was 16 or so I broke out and had some ridiculous acne but after doing some treatment and getting older, it's down. You'll have less/no acne problems later on.
