I had a few friends who had this problem. For some people, no matter how much they eat they can't seem to keep weight on.
My advice is to make sure you are eating the right foods. Eat healthy, and try to get at least 2000 calories a day. Fill up on healthy grains, fruits/veggies and lean meats. If your body isn't getting the proper nutrition it won't be able to maintain a healthy weight.
Your doctor may be right. Sometimes when people are growing they are really skinny, then when they hit their 20's they start to slow down because they are no longer growing as fast. Their body doesn't need as many calories for growing so they start to gain. This could be what is happening to you.
The most important thing is that you are eating enough and are eating healthy foods. If your doctor thinks you are healthy you are :) I know it sucks when you feel like you are getting too skinny. I had friends go through this too. But trust me things will be okay. You will probably start gaining a little when you hit your 20's and are done growing!

They'd still call you skinny even if you gained weight. People are at a frenzy with that word.
Healthy fats :P just all the healthy food (and balanced) at higher quantities. Don't neglect your fitness for the sake of gaining weight either.
You can light weights, heavier with fewer sets to build lean muscle (face it, it's not going to get that bulky unless you really go at it lol) since muscle weighs more than fat... but overall that's going to increase your metabolism so... really the only option is to eat more.
Eat whenever you can
Eat before you go to bed
Eat when you're full but not to the point where you'll throw up
Eat bagels with cream cheese
Eat pasta
Drink whole milk
Eat at least 6 times a day
Don't binge on fast food. That will just mess your body up
Drink weight gainer (I personally don't because I don't want that in my body. All I take is whey protein)
I did this and gained 10 lbs and it was a struggle lol
trust me
I used to be 120 from 6th grade to 10th grade then I gained 20 lbs and then last year I gained 10 lbs and now I gained 3. For a grand total of 153lbs
I'm 6' 1'' by the way
Good Luck!
P.s. if you're doctor says you're growing...Be patient
It's normal to go through a stage where your body wants to grow only in some directions! It's usually about 16 when your body changes and you start to 'fill out' and don't grow much more in height. But every person matures in a different way and at different (slightly) times; maybe your body just doesn't want to 'fill out' yet!

If your profile pic is recent, you don't look overly skinny, you look healthy. If you have energy and feel good, then stop worrying about gaining weight.
Just eat what makes you feel good, don't force yourself to eat more.
If you have any bad symptoms then you should get tested, but other than that, ignore people who call you skinny, everyone has an opinion about other people's weight, looks, and other personal stuff that is none of their business, we all have to tune it out.
I would say only eat when you're hungry. If you force yourself to eat extra, sometimes it can actually speed up your metabolism.dont exercise and eat whatever you fancy. that's totally against my morales though. your young still you'll fill in yet. don't be in rush to gain weight or you'll regret it. I remember thinking the same as you, before I knew it I was obese now iam fighting to get back down to my previous weight.
Are you really 16? It says you're 22, lol. I think you just have a really high metabolic rate. Maybe getting some tips from a bodybuilder trainer for women would help. It will probably be a combination of weight training exercises plus high protein, high caloric diet. You look fine in your picture by the way.
I'm just like you I have this weight gaining problem. But I do do some moderate to intense work exercise at the gym and I eat 5 times a day.
This is how I gained weight, I force fed myself. Yes I force feed myself. Nice titties by the way lady.dont worry about it and accept that you are thin. I'm the same way and have been my entire life...ive gotten used to it. I learned how to dress for my thin (skinny) body. give it a few years & eventually it will catch up with you and you will weigh as much as you want so just be happy for now. if you really want to gain weight you can try to eat a ton but you have to use it up exercising or it will just become fat...
you need to go to the gym and you need to eat a lot,but healthy, not fast food. when you build muscle, you'll look fuller, you'll weigh more, and you'll be fit.
why do you wanna gain weight? your fine the way you are. SKINNY girls are HOT.
only way to gain weight is eat more but trust me you don't wanna force it.Im not a doctor but ifi had to guess I would say it sounds like you have a tapeworm. I know gross right but don't take my word for it bring it up with your dr and have them test u.
I'm having the same problem and it sucks. Some weeks I'm putting so much effort into eating >2000 callories/day but I don't gain anything. Been trying to gain weight for months and I've actually lost a pound. =/
Don't worry, you will gain weight, enjoy your metabolism while you have it. You will be wishing you had it back.
You will put on some weight as you get older.
Lots and lots of carbs.
