Find it incredibly hard to give eye contact help!

To substitute when I'm out I try smiling a lot instead but end up looking like a lunatic I think Because who randomly smiles? Trying to act happy!

Anyway was in a club last night and there was a gorgeous guy staring at me trying to get my eye which I wouldn't give Because I found it too hard to look at him in case he didn't come over.

How can I get over being so shy and giving eye contact to guys I like? I can't find the courage to give it! Help!

In my experience, avoiding eye contact and shyness are signs of a lack of confidence. I used to have this exact same problem. First, address your confidence issue. Second, and this is kind of weird but it worked for me and I used to be PAINFULLY shy, make eye contact with everybody. For example, you know how you pass a stranger in the hallway and you ry to avoid looking at them or whatever? Start making eye contact when you pass them and say hi. Completely weird I know, but it helped me. When I walk into a club or bar, I make eye contact with everyone.

Okay I will try, no problem with girls just guys ATM. Even guys I'm not interested should I make eye contact with them? Because I ideally wouldn't want them to approach me.

Yeah, make eye contact with them too. Don't give them "the eye" just make eye contact. If they do approach you then good, it will give you experience talking to a guy. It will help you develop confidence when talking to guys.

What's the difference? How long it is? How many secs for each?

Just be natural. If you are interested, establish eye contact, smile, and then look away.. A couple of seconds for each, not a fleeting glance but not a creepy stare either.

No I mean with the guys I'm not interested in? How do I give them eye contact that's different from a guy I actually like?

With guys you aren't interested in, just establish the eye contact (don't smile at them!) maybe a second, second and a half. Smile at the guys you are interested in! Trust me, when I'm some where and a girl gives me the eye and smiles. I'm heading over there.
