Should girls wait for the guy to make contact?

I've had a flirting thing happening since February with a local guy that moved to another state. We'd kissed, but I refused anything more. Recently I holidayed near him and ended up staying with him, and sleeping with him. Last week he came home for a visit, and in the lead up he was in touch quite a lot. He stayed with me 3 nights out of 6 he was back, even though he was busy everyday and almost every evening catching up with friends and family. While he was back we messaged every day, pretty much taking it in turns to initiate contact. It's now been 4 days since he stayed (he's now returned south out of state) and I haven't heard from him. I know he's shy, but he knows I like him and he has messaged me first before. Do I wait or do I say hi or was good to catch up?

Ok, I did contact him, and we messaged all eveninf on and off, but it's been another 4 days and I've not heard from him again. I just feel like he's blowing hot/cold - seemed so keen 2 weeks ago, now nothing!

Yes, but as I said he's made contact before...I don't know if he'd be happy to hear from me or if it'd be overkill, like I'm chasing. Or maybe he's not messaging for the same reason! It's so hard because I like him a lot!

yah, the guys here are complete wimps and don't want to take any risks because of "rejection".. but the reality is a guy with balls will let you know he likes you and won't be afraid to do so. just smile when he looks at you and hope he isn't a wimp!

They are addicted to making excuses for themselves than facing and challenging their own weaknesses. Anyone that challenges them they attack and project all their weaknesses and demonize.

Truth is, a guy can like a girl all he want, but if he doesn't have any balls it's the same as if he was indifferent. This board is full of weak boys who will never challenge themselves.
