Boyfriend doesn't want to do anything on his day off except lay on couch?

Bf of 2 years had his work schedule changed on a "temporary" basis about 3 weeks ago. he's mow off Tues, wed, sat. I'm off sat, sun. He works third, I work first. So we rarely see each other four days a week except I get up when he gets home for little bit to talk. Lately I look so forward to seeing him on Saturdays so we can do something together. Alllll we do lately is he lays on couch and I sit in chair watching what he wants. I'm tired of it. When asking him why he just says " I'm tired. What does it matter what we do as long as we are together". I'm fed up. I've got so I don't want to be in same room as him and won't sleep near him as he puts nooo effort into me. Advice?

I'm the exact same way... on my days off, I get really excited to go out and do something fun on my own time. I've had boyfriends who are couch potatoes and it annoyed the hell out of me. Is it possible that he's simply less active and really does love hanging out with you at home? Or is this a new thing, and he's recently lost interest in leaving the house?

I know you already feel like you've put in enough effort (and maybe you have,) but you could try suggesting some things you'd like to do and make specific plans with him. Or you could just go out and have fun on your own... it could light a spark in him to get off the couch once he realizes you're not going to wait around for him ;)
