Avoiding video chat because of bad teeth?

So there's this guy I like on Facebook, he likes me too. We talk often there but whenever I ask to Skype (twice so far) he just ignores the question - which he usually never does.

I've been thinking about it a lot and yesterday a thought struck me. I noticed that he never ever smiles in his pictures on Facebook, in fact, he never shows his teeth. However, I did find one picture where his mouth is a bit open. From a distance his teeth look fine, but I zoomed them in and noticed two little black dots on his incisors right below his upper lip. I know it's hardly visible but still, to me it looks like he might have cavities on that part of his front teeth covered by the upper lip.

Now, is it possible that he has bad teeth and doesn't want me to see them and hence avoids Skype or am I the only one seeing those dots?^^ I know the picture is not the best but it's all I have..!

I don't have a problem with cavities as long as your teeth are not purely nasty! It's just that I'm trying to figure out what keeps him from video chatting and I don't want to confront him cause I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable...

I think you're crazy. Do you obsess over your own teeth to that degree. For guys remembering to floss is hard enough. Most of us don't pay enough attention to our teeth.

There are tons of other reasons someone would not want to Skype that would be far more likely. 1) he doesn't have a web cam, 2) he doesn't want to be recorded, 3) he finds text chatting easier because he's not on the spot/livem 4) he lives with roommates that make all sorts of noise or might butt into his video chat with you and embarrass him, 5) his room is a mess and he doesn't want you seeing it. =P Trust me, it's not the teeth...
