Why are older women so vicious?

I am at work right now and there is this bitch of a receptionist. She always criticises me and makes it out to be a joke, she makes personal jibes, and just now when I was talking to someone at her desk because of a work related issue, she grabbed me by the waist and pushed me aside so hard that I nearly fell!

I will complain when my boss gets here but I just want to know why women when they get old, they become really vicious! No wonder their men leave them!

I think it may stem from her insecurity or jealousy of you. Some older ladies tend to be difficult because of their age, generation, or their insecurity.
We bound to meet such people at work , that's why i prefer to mix around with guys as they are less vicious. Women can be challenging at times..
Most important is other people around you are nice especially your direct manager, in every organisation i always believe there would be a few kind souls it is for us to discover them and appreciate them :)

Sometimes life just gets you down. I guess life just didn't turn out they way they wanted. That movie Delores Claiborne the line. "Sometimes being a bitch is all a woman has". That might sum it up.

This isn't age related or sex related at all. There's many people like this in all shapes, sizes, and on either gender. I know of many old cranky men just like this and younger people too.

Many people just live unhappy lives and have gotten to the point where they are attracted to negativity. You can tell this about them right away just by having a good day and having to make it a point to get away from them.

Cuz they're getting older and their biological clock is ticking and they're not gonna have that perfect family...or they haven't met Mr. Right...or they met Mr. Right and then things didn't work out. Usually the guy is just relieved to get the hell out of the relationship and the cranky b*tch is left spinning.

Of course, men have plenty of flaws too. Just usually different types.

I think she is probably lacking happiness in her life, that's usually the case. It's not older women because I know a lot of women in their 40's and up, They're very honest and good people who do good unto others.
