Is taking fat burning supplements worth it?

For a long time I was under weight. I eat small portions and have a petite frame. Even though I was small, however, I have always had a pudgy midsection. Within the last 2 years I had gained 12lbs, going from 102 to 114lbs and it doesn't look good. Since my frame is meant to be small the weight I gained looks bad (especially in the mid section). A lot of my friends have even mentioned that I need to lose weight. I have changed my diet and started exercising again and have managed to lose 4lbs within the last three weeks. But my mid section is still pudgy :'(((

I am really working to get down to at least 106lbs so I can keep my curves. But I'd gladly accept being 114lbs if its all LEAN MUSCLE with no pudgy tummy! A health nut guy friend of mine suggested I start taking a supplement to help me lose the fat in that area. So I have been considering taking Raspberry Ketone (along with continued healthy diet and exercising 5 times a week) to help get rid of it once and for all.

Will this help me get rid of my stubborn area? Also, what are things you all have tried or what do you suggest? Or should I just stick to good old diet and exercise?

And yes, my healthy weight range is 102-106lbs. I am 5'2 with a small frame.

Would a 23in waist be a realistic goal for me? I have a petite frame as I've mentioned before, but I have a short torso.

I am proud to report that I am almost at my goal of having a 23 inch waist. One more inch to go!

The biggest factor was radically changing my diet. I no longer consume any processed foods, no sugar, no sweet drinks, & left bread behind! (Unless it's whole grain) Changing my diet has brought me very far and I feel better than ever (and look better). I have not lost any weight, just inches. Just goes to show what we consume plays a huge role in how our body looks.
