How would you feel if you girlfriend earned loads of money for doing nothing?

Guys be honest would you respect her less for that especially if she was young.

I'm a songwriter and two of my songs became such hits that with that I get big checks every month for royalties, with the amount of money I earn I could stop working for the rest of my life. It's good and I feel accomplished but at the same time I feel quite unconfortable talking about this with my boyfriend because we works really hard and he is struggling with 2 part time jobs.

I still have my projects but I don't have the urgency or worry and that might scare him or intimidate him specially because I'm so young.

It means you got a really good head on your shoulders than most people out there. I think there maybe a fear on his side knowing how successful you'll get in the near future, that he thinks you might leave him one day.

That isn't doing nothing. You did work which continues to pay you.

But, you did do something! You wrote those songs. Not only would I have no problem with it. I would admire her and be proud of her for her achievements.
