If you think you have upset a guy do you leave him alone and not contact him or contact him to see what is up?

I think I might have hurt this guys feelings, Haven't heard from him in about 3 days.

I know guys need space to think about things so do I try and contact him and casually ask if something is wrong or do I leave him be and let him contact me

If you think you hurt his feelings, then why would you ask him if something is wrong? That's just antagonistic. It's like if I'm a complete asshole to you, I see you get mad and then I'm like aww pore baby is something wrong? Try owning your actions, apologizing for them, correcting your behavior, and taking actions to be good to him to show you care about him and you are sort of making up for your mistake.
