What do you think of a hotel that cancels rooms for a wedding because of a Taylor Swift concert?

A bride and her fiancé reserved a block of 10 rooms at a Massachusetts hotel for their wedding in May, at a cost of $169 per room per night. Then, the hotel learns that Taylor Swift will be performing 3 concerts that weekend, and decides that the $1000 per room that they can charge is a better deal. So, the hotel manager informs the bride that her rooms have been canceled.

So, the hotel's corporate, upon learning of this, apologizes, reinstates the reservation, and offers complimentary (no charge) rooms as compensation.

Is an apology and compensation enough? Should the hotel manager, who made the decision, be disciplined, and maybe fired?
