What would you like companies to stop making?

After being inappropriately, and thoroughly sprayed this week (yes I felt it, powerful sucker) I choose auto-flush toilets (with the wall panel sensor, the other you can cover with tp. Bringing sticky notes with me from now on. Give us a lid, at least, people.)!!

I’ll never complain about having to flush a public toilet myself from a previous occupant again. I love that control handle and ability to hide behind the door if you want. 🤢

Oh man, those self flushing toilets are so bad! I refuse to sit on a public toilet, so I hover. Those automatic toilets always flush before I'm done. 😡 I like your idea of carrying sticky notes. I'm going to copy that one!

Let's see... I wish companies would stop making cigarettes and vapes. They are so nasty and they deprive me of oxygen when I'm near. I especially don't like them when I'm at the beach trying to enjoy the FRESH AIR! 😝

I think the chemicals have their bodies so hooked that they can't quit. It's amazing to see someone stand alone outside in snow and sub freezing temperatures while missing part of a movie they paid $15 to see, just for a few puffs.

House alarms. I view them as a public nuisance! I’m sure 99.9% of the time when they go off it’s a false alarm - they sometimes go off for HOURS in the middle of the night 😵‍💫 and no one seems to care anyway - no one checks on the house or calls the police or anything like that. I want house alarms banned and more focus to be on locks 🔐 secure doors and cameras etc.

I have in the past until I installed sound proof windows in all the bedrooms - now I wouldn’t know if one is going off or not 😁 except in the summer when you have your windows open. I do feel the same about car alarms, but I find they don’t seem to go off as often as house alarms do. Yes, they should all have time limits, and a limit on going off repeatedly at the very least 👍

Acoustic laminated glass - not completely sound proof, but really makes a difference in bringing all sounds right down so you can sleep through most things 😴 would definitely recommend! 😁

I would like companies to stop making rechargeable electric cars. Also, I wish they would stop making the easy to run down and break appliances and a/c + heating units. They should go back to what they did in the 70’s and 80’s. Make good long lasting appliances, etc. But no…it’s all about the money. Consumer buys say a washing machine. Lasts two years then breaks. They don’t make the part you need anymore, they Force you to buy a whole new unit.

To add to the bathroom blues, the auto sink is somehow worse than the low flow aerators they install. Once the toilet sprays you, you can lose your cool waving your hands like a moron at an uncompliant faucet…

I do get that. But they have helped me immensely helping care for my elderly mother. For example. My phone let me view cameras when I had to go to the DMV and wait four hours, her tv turned off and I was able to turn it on from the DMV (auto energy saver timer had turned it off) and change channels for her. Also lights, and others. That was just one day of so many like it. It took me a long time to get one, but it meant the world when I did in my case.
