Self-worth is the internal sense of being good enough and worthy of love and belonging from others.
I have a lot of skills that are very useful. I can do carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. I can fix cars although the new ones are a mystery still. I an also good with technology and electronics.
I think I am a pretty honorable person and I imagine I am a good husband and father
I have a degree in accounting and know how to handle money. I also know a lot about fitness.
Mine is an inner journey, I strive to be who I would love to be with in a relationship. Since I am close to what my ideal partner is like in terms of personality qualities I also have high self worth. Add my accomplishments to the mix that I am proud off and you have a reasonable picture of personality + achievement.

Trying to work on that because they’re all things that have an expiration date that some might even argue has already passed😅😂 It’s pretty much always been looking good, success with sports, and success with women.
Whatever my ceiling is/was in any of those areas, I tried to touch it. I still look ok, and thankfully much younger than my age, but I still look a past-my-prime age, haha. I’m still out there ballin’ to the best of my ability (or is it “puckin’ “ if it’s hockey?🤔), but I’m still pretty new to the sport and playing against guys who’ve played their whole lives, and often younger than me, so I play well enough, and I’m proud of myself for even being out there, but I can’t stud out like I once could in football or baseball. Success with women…. hard to judge now. I have my main lady, so I haven’t been in the field for a while, but she’s laid up long term with health stuff and has basically told me to outsource sex, and I can even date other people, but that feels slippery. But I also just don’t know if I can pull anymore😂 I feel like the only women I’m surrounded by are ones who are too young for me, at the gym. They’re all like 22, MAX. So I don’t know if I don’t catch any looks from anyone because I’ve lost it, or if it’s just because I look like a dad to these girls, lmfao. I also have RIDICULOUS hair right now, so I don’t think I’d talk to me either if I were a lady😂
Either way…. I feel like my strong suits are fading. Or at least what I desire to be my strong suits. I have a lot of other great qualities, I think I just don’t have the appreciation that I should for them, or that others do.
I suppose it's primarily based on my accomplishments (what I've been able to do that improves my life or someone else's) and on my morals and values (did I make the hard choice because I know it was right, or did I make the easy choice even though I know it was wrong?).
My competition is myself - my "perfect" imaginary alter-ego. There's no point in comparing myself to someone else, because that other person doesn't have my gifts or liabilities, so the situation isn't going to be the same.
intellect and practicality. I am far from the brightest ranks but happy with my level. I am more interested in the value I have for myself.

it doesn't seem very sensible to want love as a man. I'm happy with respect given women being willing to give me sex is a form of respect.
I think I have respect.
There have been many hard times in my life when I have contemplated suicide. What helped me through those phases were thoughts of family and friends. My uncle Joe killed himself when I was six or seven and even though I don't remember it happening, it still hurts to think about it. I never wanted them to remember me as their child who hurt themselves because they didn't like the world they were in. I didn't want just to kill myself because my life was rough. I'm glad I didn't because I have made many new friends and precious memories that would never have happened if something never went through my mind during those moments. So what I'm trying to say is this: even when life gets hard or unexpected just remember that there are people who don't want to see you hurt yourself or even die.
My self worth, value and sense of dignity can only be measured by how well, how thoroughly and how generously I can be for the woman who im serving.
It's all about your locus of control. A strong internal locus is healthy as you're going to go out and get what you believe you're worth, while an external locus makes you subject to the whims of other people who actually don't value you beyond what you can do to advance them.
I base my value on what my Faith tells me I'm worth. I believe that if God thinks I'm worth dying for then there's probably something of value in me intrinsically.
Helping out others and acquiring more knowledge on specific things I am interested in.
That is a a very interesting and thoughtful question.
A number of factors. Right now I just want to be able to support myself.
But when I can’t, I pride myself in trying to not take charity and offer something of value in exchange. I know it’s good to give, but it’s empowering as well. When I take, I feel disempowered.
It doesn't matter what I think about my worth, what only matters is what others think about my worth and it looks good for me. I'm useful for more people than I really need.
Right now, since I'm still working on getting off my feet.. Probably mainly my looks.. Since that's been the thing that's gotten me the most validation in life... It shouldn't power my self worth.. But it sort of does..
I only want to change people if it benefits them, not me.
Financial responsibility, ability to care for others as well as yourself, all of which I sorely lack.
