What do women bring to a relationship?

Not a troll question Im actually serious and curious
I ask because whenever the topic of a guy wanting a relationship, everyone tells him to basically sculpt himself into he best man ever, a demi-god. Learn and enjoy a bunch of hobbies, be a social butterfly, workout and get ripped, and he's supposed to bring all of this positive stuff to the relationship (on top of initiating everything and paying too)
Basically the man has to be a 11/10, the best superman guy dude around
So what is it that women bring to the relationship?

Depends on the type of woman. A traditional woman brings sex, cooking, cleaning, organizing, child care, someone that can run errands while the man is at work, and someone to take care of him while he is sick. These are things a career woman wouldn't have as much time for.

A career woman brings sex, and an extra paycheck. Depending on the hours the woman works, there could be some overlap in the things a more traditional woman offers.

I would say the biggest problem with career women is they want the same men (good providers) that traditional women want, but if a man makes enough money, it makes life easier on him to just have the woman take care of the home. If the guy is already rich, then the woman's added paycheck won't matter.

Career women tend to be the ones that don't understand they have little to offer the type of men they want, and dismiss the types of men (men more interested in breaking out of the male gender role) that would see the woman as having value as being a provider. Instead they assume their financial success entitles them to a more financially successful man.

In either case the man is still expected to fulfill his gender roll. It is just with one, he still has to clean up after himself, and the other he has to make sure he makes enough money to support her financially.

You are pretty much right anonymous I guess women bring love hopes for a family, marriage and a partner as well the whole transforming yourself into a demi-god is not a problem for me I am always looking to better myself as a man and a person so just another challenge to be met.

Any woman who demands a "demi-god" with all the hobbies and social skills of one as well as you paying for everything is asking for far too much and do you really want to date that high maintenence of a woman anyway?

Men and women bring the same things-
Love, commitment, support, comfort, encouragement, conversation, shared interests, friendship, jokes, sex, good times, laughter, joy, happiness...

The list can literally go on for ever. Men and women bring the same things into a relationship and anyone that says differently is living in a different era. They both make money, they both support each other, they both have sex, they both work, they both raise a family, they both cook and clean. If people decide to do things differently and agree that's fine. But in general any good relationship will meet each other right in the middle.

I constantly work on my personality, try to get rid of the negative aspects of it, and keep working to add to the list of positive qualities I have. All in all, I try my best to be a good person. I do this for me. I want to like who I am. I want to be proud of who I am. It also makes me happy when others like and appreciate who I am.

I'm not going to try to better myself just so that I can be ahead of the dating competition, so to speak, and score myself a great guy. I simply desire to be a good person. I consider that to be the absolute best thing you can bring into a relationship, for both guys and girls. Just being the best person you can be.

Relationships are about consideration and teamwork. Both wants to be a lover, friend and someone you can trust. For me, women bring comfort to her partner's needs and appeal for knowing how to take care of herself. Also, If a woman has a thing for cooking, then she can always bring some of his favorite meals to the table. :}

Honestly if you feel like you have to be a different person that you do not want to be a in relationship then I would suggest to not even get in one if that is the case. You should just be yourself and I know how many times you have probably heard that but it is true. In a relationship it should at least be 50/50. You are a much better person when you know who you really are and what makes you unique and girls like that.

It is the same for women. If we want to be noticed and asked out were are told to do the same things. Either way though it should be about friendship, love and support, not how "hot" they are.
