If your girlfriend ruined your favourite shirt, (if your boyfriend ruined your favourite dress) how would you react?

My friend just called me upset, because her fiance just did the laundry for her lol
and her favourite sweater dress shrunk into kids' dress size lol she was like furious mad hahaha lol but I think it is still sweet that he tried to help XP but yeah I might be sad of course lol.

How would you react if this happened to you?
would you be really upset? :P

The fact that he tried to do my laundry is proof enough that he cares about me, sure it's my favorite sweater or dress or pants but that's just it, they can be replaced with a new style next year so get
mad over something like this is a little ridiculous... I know I will never be able to trust him with my laundry again but wasting my time and his time being upset over something so tiny compared to spending time together is well drastic!

No piece of clothing, or any material thing for that matter (aside from sentimental things), should have enough of a hold on you for you to get really upset about it if it gets ruined/goes missing. It's just a thing, it can be replaced, and if it can't, oh well. Life goes on.

It doesn't matter lol I would laugh and try and squeeze the sweater on just for giggles.

I get extremely mad when any of my clothes end up ruined. My dad once took my basket of laundry and put it all through the washer and dryer together, half of my clothes were to small and all of my white clothes were pink. I would be pissed at first but eventually calm down.

I'd be sad that I lost such a cute piece of clothing, but at the same time... It's a piece of clothing. I'd be pissed for like two seconds, and knowing my boyfriend, he'd suck up to me and charm me into not being mad anymore lol. Let's be real, he can be pretty charming.

Since I have infinitely more attachment to people I love over my clothes, I couldn't care less. I'm not the right person to ask, however. You see, if aliens came and threatened to burn my entire wardrobe, sparing only the clothes I'm currently wearing, I would probably shrug and go back to talking to people on GAG.

Don't get why it's sweet but I'd be pissed. He knows my dresses sometimes need a different wash to normal, but then again I know he checks most of the labels so I'd know it was a genuine mistake.

Ah, I'd be annoyed but not for very long, a dress is a dress and he's my love. I know which is more precious to me.

My ex husband HATED when I did his laundry because I always shrunk his t shirts lol. I hardly even noticed a difference on him when he would put them on but he made a huge issue out of it. I admit, it was funny to see him get all riled up about it :P
