Everyone looks.. Everyone.. Regardless of age or status.. It may suck and it into right to do it in front of your significant other, understood. The thing is though it's not easy to just ignore a beautiful person or someone attractive.. In my past relationships things seemed healthier if we could both joke about it and be our normal human self.. Rather than, fake, like nope nope I don't see that butt over thr I didn't look at her boobs... It's just so false.. Allowing each other to be open and yourself should make your relationship stronger.. Seriously.. Im sorry you feel hurt though. You have to be confident in yourself bc though he checked out, said woman, he is with you..

Please don't overreact. It means absolutely nothing.
If people would have to cut off relationships because they looked at another man or woman the human race would cease to exist within a 100 years.
We all do this. Not just the men but also women. It means your man is being human. And if I had a girlfriend and she checked out another man it would mean she is human too. No way I would break it off because of that. I would not even ask her about it because it is way too insignificant.
And to be a little it personal here. Have you never checked a out another guy?
He loves you and that is all that is important.

I completely disagree with everyone here. To call such behavior "being human" when you're in a committed relationship is a poor excuse to condone it. Now saying that nobody is perfect and we are all sinners in God's eyes is truthful, but if this is a pattern you're noticing (assuming you're still with the person) then maybe he doesn't love you the way you deserve to be loved. I know if I was in a committed relationship I wouldn't even think about looking at another woman with lust and my eyes would only be for her always. Very few good ones exist in today's day and age but it doesn't mean you should settle for less. I'm going to end it right there, take care of yourself
Wow... 9 years of relationship and you just discovered that:
1) people naturally (it's a reflex) glance at other attractive people / object / landscape / etc when they stumble upon them.
2) there are millions of girls as good looking or better looking than you on the planet, so your boyfriend is eventually bound to bump into some of them from time to time and notice them. Get over it.
It doesn't mean he doesn't love you or that he is planning on cheating. Those are unrelated.Very insecure and jealous. maybe seek some couples counselling? That is certainly not cool. Do you not ever check guys out? Maybe you can check guys and girls out together playfully and open up a bit. I would suggest counselling though. Not for your relationship, but for you. Though you'd be going together of course.
what else do you not know? im guessing probably a lot still lol.
its a 9 year relationship, checking out another girl's ass shouldn't even remotely come close to destabilizing it. only you can do that with insecurities or whatever.Well most men kinda glance at attractive women that walk by. We try not to stare too long, and we try not to get caught. I don't think glancing at a woman running by is worth ending 9 year relationship
I don't know any rational person that would end a decade relationship over something minor like that.
Well if he truly loves you then dont wrry he may see 100 asses a day bt he won't bother to fantasies about them if he got you bcoz men will be man you can't tell him what to do or not to do so keep some faith in him.
All men do this. Stop acting like you haven't checked out other guys while you were in this relationship, because you have.
Ugh. This type of question needs an FAQ that shrieks in loud, capital letters that IT DOESN'T MEAN A FUCKING THING.
Wave a shiny object in front of a baby's face, watch what happens. Exact same phenomenon. Our eyes tend to go to those places, sometimes. I mean, it's difficult not to look at a nice ass if you have it in front of you; that doesn't mean we would cheat, though. I wouldn't give it much thought if I were you.
