My boyfriend slept with a minor?

My boyfriend is 23, and I'm 21. Before we met, he met this 16 year old girl (not sure how) and talked to her and hung out with her. He said he had sex with her once. I happen to know this girl, because her dad is a good friend of my grandpa's and uncle's. He didn't know that I knew her, but once he made the connection, he confessed. I asked her for myself to see exactly what went on, and all she said was "All he wanted was sex so I told him to leave me alone". I made him delete her from everything, and I did the same. It just bothers me so much and I just don't know what to think.

I'd feel uneasy if my boyfriend had pedo tendencies/relations too.
