@itsallover lol not sure if I value the opinion of someone who perceives men as unnecessary when it comes to having and raising kids other than sperm donors and to make child support payments.
@Iraqveteran666 It's not the 50's, women are becoming more financially established and independent to the point where we can raise a child alone. I find it funny that men will protest having to contribute the absolute bare minimum of taking care of a child, when it would probably be more of a strain to actually be in their lives and raise them.
@itsallover most women are not if the "earnings" gap statistics are to believed. Women of course for the most part choosing to work low paying careers and jobs and end up with 70 cents for every dollar a man makes. It's funny how women will deny a man the basic human rights to either choose to be father or not. Why should a father be financially responsible for a child when he doesn't have the right to choose.
@Iraqveteran666 That's because jobs that have historically had women occupying positions are notoriously underpaid. Doctors are some of the highest paid people in the US, but in Russia it's comparatively lower paid because the majority of doctors are women. So please miss me with the 'women choose jobs where the pay is low' trope.
If that child is biologically yours, then you are the father, no questions asked. Whether you want to be financially responsible for a child or not then that's your decision, but the way the legal system is currently set up (which I agree needs to be reformed), don't expect to walk away scot free from your responsibilities as a parent.
@itsallover you can't compare the 50'same to the present fact that women earn 70 cents to the male dollar. For instance childcare pays very little but is at least 90% staffed by women. I agree with what your saying I just don't believe a father should be responsible for a child he had no say in being born and then at the same time not given the option of choosing to be in the child's life.
@Iraqveteran666 That's not the 50's. This is the present day. I've give you another example. Computer programming used to be a female dominated field and was considered to be menial repetitive work. Now that it's male dominated, the picture is a lot different. You also fail to take into account that women don't necessarily work as many hours as men due to childcare and maternity. It's not as black and white as it seems.
Even with the way the law is set up, there's many men who STILL don't pay child support or share any responsibilities without repercussions. I'm done here anyway, I don't like spamming other people's opinions ✌️️
@itsallover you fail to take into account that men go where the money is, if there were fortunes to be made in a previously low paid job that's where all the men would go. "You also fail to take into account that women don't necessarily work as many hours as men due to childcare and maternity." I agree hence why men make more, that's not sexism in the workplace but instead equality. Many women deny fathers their human rights when it comes to fatherhood. @Rexium that's my bad too. @Iraqveteran666 Artificial insemination, you don't have to love someone to get pregnanf
Yeah but how does that help your chances as a single mother?
@Iraqveteran666 I'm gna be financially stable enough to support a child before having a child obviously
Uh huh but with no man and you expect to find a man after?
@Iraqveteran666 Whatever happens, happens.
@Iraqveteran666 Lmao you guys overestimate your importance in women's lives.
@itsallover you girls overestimate your value on the sexual and marraige marketplace especially once you hit thirty or have a kid.
@Iraqveteran666 Not sure if I value the opinion of a person who perceives people as items on a 'marketplace', but okay dude.

@Iraqveteran666 Then don't pay child support, idgaf. I wouldn't settle for marrying someone I don't love.
