What do people mean when they say "You look good together"?

Does It mean they think there's a chemistry between us? Because I think that guy likes me.

But we had a just a friendly conversation nothing more. I didn't feel chemistry or something, I was just happy to meet him and he seemed to be glad too.

by that sentence, one usually means that the people concerned seem to fit each other well... by bonding, by being happy (both r happy in each other's company) and so on... it does not necessary have to mean romantically but one can infer that too...
in my opinion
2 people look good together when they r happy by being with each other and enjoy each other's company
