Girls, would you enjoy being a 'hotwife'?

For those who don't know, a hotwife is a woman whose partner allows them to have full sexual freedom with other guys but he (the boyfriend / husband) remains fully faithful.
I thought it would be a dream for all women to have this (as long as he was 100% ok with it and it wasn't going to cause problems) but reading online shows that not all women would want it? If not, then why not?

For us the relationship is 90% about connection and faithfulness. It's about two people *choosing* to share their lives and all of who they are with someone else. There's no reason to find a second, it'd just complicate things and make it really messy.

Relationships are like jelly beans. There's always something that everyone doesn't like but even if you like jelly beans and buy some, there's no way (unless something's wrong) that you're eating that whole bag of jelly beans. That's just too much, you'll feel sick and never want to see a jelly bean again.

This is where a lot of people end up in relationships, they over indulge. They think "some was good, so more of the same should be even better! As much as I can get" buut, it rarely turns out the way they thought it would. Don't be greedy, you've found what you wanted, just be satisfied with the jelly bean you have.

I would love an arrangement like that, but I know other women aren’t like that. Feeling love for someone and feeling lust for someone are two totally different things. Also, sometimes relationships just become a little stale sexually and venturing outside of it can either satisfy or make you remember what you were missing.

I do think there is an inherent psychological reason for this, like women are generally more monogamous or loving, but it’s hard for me to empathize because I don’t feel the same way. I would be interested to find out what the reasoning is though 🤔

I don't know - I think women want monogamy through evolution because of the need to have security for the children's safety and well being. Men biologically want to spread their seed everywhere from evolution to make sure the species procreate and their lineage continues. But I think those are pretty base aspects of human evolution and you have to take into account that evolution includes the modern part of the timeline. The modern era of evolution, western societies have solved in the aggregate the security issue in terms of food and shelter, and therefore pleasure matters as much to both men and women as much as their original biological design. And therefore - what turns you on is unique, individually driven, and open to desire more than biological necessity. LOLOLOL I don't know just trying to contribute! :)
