Guys how important is SEX to you? Do good sex & commitment go hand in hand? Or could you have good sex and relationship and still not want commitment?

Curious... don't have much expertise in the sex department, so don't really know if I am good or bad at it.
Dated a guy for a year, we had a good relationship, same sense of humor, could talk of anything, shared a lot of personal info with me and future plans, he was very affectionate and asked to spend at least 4 days a week with me.
Sex wise to me it was good, don't have much to compare to but he was the kind of person of once per day only, and I always wanted more than he did. Always asked him to do more rounds, he never wanted to try.
He never told me I was bad at it or complained, only comment I ever got was that I liked kissing and tease too much, that he would like to get to the action faster but nothing else and I changed that.
1. He never wanted to commit or be in a formal relationship I was wandering if it had anything to do with the sex?
2. Is sex even that relevant to commit?
3. Or commitment has nothing to do with only one variable but with the persons issues with commitment or that maybe he is just not that into you?
4. Lastly, how can I know if I am good or bad at sex? What are indicators I should look out for?

It sounds like he just straight up didn't care about your pleasure.

He admitted he wanted to just get straight to it, meaning he didn't want foreplay. That's a bad sign. Guys who don't do foreplay almost never care if their girl cums or not. They just want to get their nut and go.
He also probably didn't want to commit because he realized he couldn't keep up with you, sexually, and that eventually you'd get tired of him.

We did have foreplay, and he did try to make me cum. I did a couple of times but not always, thats why i wanted more rounds. He did ask me what I liked and I told him, I liked sex with him I just didn't necessarily cum every time.
Like I said I don't have much experience in the sexual department, the only other time I was sexual was with my ex boyfriend and he made me cum every time.

3. It sounds like it’s issues with commitment what was his past relationships like?
4. Some i indicators are if he moans he likes it, he wants to have sex and usually makes the first move, you make him cum, if you want to be better I'd watch some porn and learn from the pornstars.
