Am I crazy for being mad my boyfriend because he’s too close with his sister?

My boyfriend and his sister have a good relationship and i dont hate her or have negative feelings towards her. But sometimes i feel like they’re way too physical with each other, like cuddling, and my boyfriend slapping her butt and stuffs. And whenever they sit together, be it a couch or a bed, they’d be together skin to skin, like my boyfriend puts his legs on her laps, cuddle or lean on each other and stuff. I’m not jealous of his sister but when i see those kinda stuff, I’m completely turned off and i feel uncomfortable talking to him. Besides, his sister doesn’t like me that much and she would often get mad at my boyfriend when he comes over, she’s kinda jealous of me when my boyfriend gives me more attention. Maybe it’s because i dont have that kind of relationship with my brothers, I don’t understand the way they are. Is my feeling relevant or am i just crazy?

When I first started reading I didn’t see a problem cuz my sister and I sit close to each other and we slap each other’s butts as a joke. We also put our legs on each other lol. But we don’t cuddle lol. It sounds like they’re a little TOO close if you catch my drift lol. If she’s jealous you’re getting more attention then that’s a BAD SIGN. Picturing them cuddling makes me uncomfortable lol.


Maybe you should talk to him about that? I mean if you really love him it might not be the worst situation in the world to be in. But honestly you’re definitely not in the wrong here.

That would certainly make me feel uncomfortable. Talk to him about it. There's nothing wrong with deciding you can't date a guy like that. It doesn't mean he's doing anything wrong, or that you're doing anything wrong. It just means you weren't meant for him. If you think that's something you can overlook, then let it go, but don't lie to yourself and think you can overlook it if you can't.

Yes that makes you crazy, brothers and sisters are naturally close, if you want a guy who isn't going to be really close with his sister you either want an only child or a guy like me who doesn't talk to his family much.
