When the girl is almost a whole foot taller (6'3/1,90m) and like 50 pounds (20kg) heavier than the guy (5'4/1,64m) and in volleyball training, will she be stronger than him or does he still have greater overall strength as a guy? What if they got into a serious fight, who would you bet on?
Is a very tall volleyball girl stronger than an average short guy?

Volleyball is a more cardio heavy sport than a muscular one like powerlifting. So assuming average strength from the guy, he may triumph in terms of raw power.
As for a fight, well I'm not so sure. While he may have strength, she has size on her side. How well each fighter is able to use their bodily characteristics depends on the person, but arm and leg reach is highly important in fistfights. The taller girl will have an advantage on that front, but whether she can effectively use that to her advantage is another story. There's also the story of reflexes and the like.
But I'd likely bet on the guy since neither are experienced fighters
Chances are he is still stronger, maybe not by a lot though. Keep in mind that any average joe is stronger than even those female bodybuilders pumped with testosterone. So it's extremely hard and rare for a woman to be stronger than a man.

Is this still revelant?

thanks for elaborating, but i'm not so convinced though... i'm kind of an average joe and lost to a girl in arm wrestling that was just tall.. i'd have no chance against a female bodybuilder i'm sure.

She could be stronger but doubt it. The man would have to be weakly to lose.

I'm assuming because logic would dictate she's stronger for me. Even if she's at a semi professional level, she quick in her feet, agile, fast, that means strong legs, plus training for volleyball requires a lot of upper strength and obvs that has to be worked for with training. Based on that I'd assume she's a lot stronger than the average short man.

Well, that sounds logic indeed. Do you think height plays a role too, or is training/being fit most important? However, thanks for elaborating so far!
