What makes a guy a man in your eyes?

Question

I often read here and on other websites "a true man does/would do/..." or "a true man doesn´t/will never do...". It might be a lame duck on here but I personally find it hard or at least not that easy to define what a true man realistically is.
Coming up from a rather female dominated household and a family where the women are the rather extroverted (maybe dominant) characters. My father was there for me don´t get me wrong but he´s not that much of a rolemodel to me when it comes to terms of manly characters. That´s so mostly because he´s way older than me and he lived in a completely different time choosing a completely different way of work.
I´ve been curious how you guys would define it.

I think it's almost impossible for a non man male to answer this question. I think I didn't arrive until I was into my early 40s. Perhaps im still not completly "a man" but certainly more mature than I was.

To me a boy would be someone like Colin Kapernick. Best example I can think of. I wouldn't think it if he had taken a knee. Dont get it wrong. You won't get it right if you are resistant to what Im getting at.

I grew up on punk rock. I lived punk rock. not "I went to college and had a punk rock record" or was in a punk band for 4 years. What I am saying is that I took it seriously and lived it and it was disastrous. If you don't know what I mean by "punk rock"You are not the ugliest girl in the world. You're probably not even a 4. You are likely just depressed and beating yourself up over it. And this is coming from someone who LOATHES being short probably more than you dislike your supposed "ugly looks." If people aren't taking it that seriously, then you likely aren't ugly. You're probably a 5 or something, thinking that's a 1.

And it's true; ugly guys DO have it so much worse. If you wanted to, you could get sex whenever you wanted, even as an "ugly girl." You just likely don't want that. Ugly/short men get NOTHING. No supporting comments, no "pity sex," literally nothing.

As implied by your current responses on here, you probably ARE getting plenty of positive attention from men. But they aren't "good enough" for you because "I don't care about them." In which case, nothing we say or do can help you. Not that ugly/short men would even get this much support from internet strangers, especially those of the opposite sex.
I feel like society in the west has went "punk rock". You may not agree with me or you may hate me for saying that. But it's basically immature and I used to hate people like me who would point it out. And then one day I grew up and realized that other people feelings mattered and not just what I wanted to do with my life. That my actions and choices weren't always just about "how I wanted to live my life". Or rather they should have been about more than that.
