On both relationship videos and real life events I've seen this happening. It's lesser nowadays but it hasn't disappeared. It still happens and a gullible man still falls for it.

These golddiggers apparently played it so well that they can still get a man, not just for sex but for relationships and in a few cases, it has sadly the guy married her. How?

I imagine asking a man for money or good stuff is so obvious, that he would notice it and pump and dump or just get rid of her. How on earth do they do that? Are they really smart?

I used to be a sugar baby of a few rich older men. I gave them companionship and affection while they provided me financially.

Let me tell you one fact: these rich old men are no stupid men, they clearly knew I only wanted their money, not their love and that is exactly what they wanted from me. These highly successful men in their lates 40s and beyond usually don’t want love and all the drama and headache that come with love/relationship/marriage. They want to be mentally free from all of these things so they could focus on their career, business/company, making more money, having fun and enjoying life using the money that they have (bear in mind they’re all old so they don’t have much time left on earth). Love and drama is the last thing they want and on their mind at that age and at that level of success. They will want your companionship, your attention and affection, and sex but the moment you have feelings for them/falling for them you’re out of the game and they will ditch you and replace you with someone else who is drama-free immediately.

So to answer your question, yes they know you’re after their money but they would prefer to give you the money and spoilt you to provide them with companionship and fun rather than you giving them love and real feelings. So these men will target the ones who are only there for their money rather than the ones being there to fight for their attention, heart and love. If they eventually want you and marry you, you have to basically be submissive to them, give them all the attention they want but you’re not allowed to create any drama or heartache to them. And of course, they will be smart enough to give you enough money to not bankrupt themselves so it’s not like you can dig unlimitedly. At the end of the day, it’s a win-win situation for both parties and that’s how it works

Come on: All this is about power. Men with money who have nothing else about themselves that's attractive use their money to attract women. The women they attract are gold diggers.

They get a physically young, attractive woman with their money. And that's usually all they get. The woman's often 25 or 30 years their junior. As long as the woman is ' comfortable, it's OK with them to have a child or two to seal the deal. They can live a "lifestyles of the rich and famous" kind of life, hire nannies to take care of the children, jet set to where they want, host their friends and families.

And in a few years when the man is doddering and on the way out, they end up with the cash.

These men know exactly what they're getting into. They want a pretty, young wife to impress others that they can get said with their financial prowess. And when he's too old to manage his affairs, she will, and she can carry on with whatever giggolo she cares to and after he's gone, when she's in her 40s, she's still able to swing another marriage to someone her own age who also has a giant bank account.

Everyone gets what they want. There's no determining if anyone is HAPPY. But maybe they're satisfied with the deals they get.

This is a game of constantly changing rules and requirements and men are always the last to know about these " corrections in policy" Why are we the last to know? From my experience, if a woman is a gold digger, the man USUALLY KNOWS. If you take a look around at most gold digger, they are usually in very shallow superficial marriages where the gold digger is usually very attractive while the man is very rich. Do you really think this rich man will take a plain jane or less attractive woman for a wife? NO!

Gold diggers have to be attractive to get money. Their marriages are not about love. Its just a financial arrangement where the rich man buys a beautiful wife so that he can look good to the rest of society.

The need he fullfills, is the other half.
Thats the issue of a double edged sword,
Some men want to be needed, either in a good way or bad. Good as being a provider, bad as being the guy in said picture. The issue, also women complicate things. I have a female friend, I think she wants me or needs me? But I dont know she complicated us. Part is she tells me she loves me, doesn't want to hurt my feelings. But then she tells me, we will never be together. She gets mad at me when I try to disappear from her life, so I can move on. She has a new man in her life, so let me be.
These women make it super simple, they want the money. Men want well whatever they want. You are mad at a man that you liked, but did you complicate things? Or did he just want to have "fun"?

A friend of mine travelled to a small town for a construction project. He noticed a row of nice houses for sale and he inquired why. It turns all of the houses were for sale because a string of divorces. A local plant had closed down. As a result of the plant closure, the men lost their jobs. There were couples who had been married for 20+ years, but because the man lost his job (due to a plant closure), the woman viewed the man as a "loser" and had to divorce him. These men did not become bad overnight; they were affected by things outside of their control... but the women felt compelled to dump the men. So the man's job was in many ways more important than the man... hence the view that nearly all women are gold diggers, just to different extents.

If they're rich and don't care about it then why not. There's always something to spend money on, women isn't any different to them buying a sportscar or drugs or whatever.
They also probably think all girls are into them for the money, might as well have someone who's straight up about it.
And sometimes pretending is better than nothing.

Money might not mean much compared to love to them, and they might rather have pretend love rather than no love and money.

Or maybe they actually love them who knows. Most likely they got hurt enough in the past and don't want to try find a normal relationship anymore. I'm sure it sucks to be rich and alone, probably can't even trust your family.

It's pretty simple. I think the men and women in this equation are equally culpable. The man has decided to trade money, while the woman is trading her youth and looks. If these old balding grandpas with paunches honestly think they could bag a 20-something hottie if the $$$ was not involved, they are clearly delusional. Surely they know that? On facebook I saw a picture of a fat man, with a woman that is really, really pretty. The title of the picture said the man won over a 100 million dollars in lottery. 3 days later, he found the girl of his dreams.

If that picture is true, then the girl looks like she is in it for the money, while the guy is in it for her pretty face and perfect, sexy body. Both got what they want out of each other.

Loneliness and ego is a true issue with men. We want relationships and we dream of landing one with a very attractive woman (along with everything else).

However there only one asset an average guy can provide here: money. Women are willing to sleep with men they have zero real interest in (vice versa is much more difficult) just for money. These guys know they are being taken advantage of for their money. But they want to fool themselves into thinking she really likes him.
Anyway career gold diggers are the lowest of low to me. They are lower than run of the mill hookers.

Societal implications and how it is acceptable to treat men , and not acceptable to treat women now kinda bring down a mans self value, which is why we've seen a rise of a bunch of incel types.

So in those cases, he’s just as much at fault because of choosing to participate in it. I don’t feel bad for guys in these type of relationships. That's the reality in dating. It's all about women. Guys has to be happy by what he can get , girls have way more options. So many guys has to throw money to women to get their attention. Just to be clear women only want top level guys , girls who aren't gold diggers are really rare. So guys chances to get good women are extremely low if he's average or below average looking. Men do know about gold diggers. A lot of girls don't consider them as gold diggers but they don't bring anything to relationships except their body. He appreciates me and doesn’t just think of my looks he knows I’m beautiful on the inside too and smart. I’m a college graduate and I’m getting my masters degree.
