Guys, My boyfriend said that if we ever move in together he's scared he’ll get bored of me?

My boyfriend and i have been dating for 4 months. everything is honestly great. he's the greatest guy ever. he treats me with so much kindness and so much respect.

even if we dont see each other that day he always calls me and stuff so everything is pretty good. he even mentioned how he would buy a place thats where i DREAM of living one day hahah and he said he would hand me the key haha

anyway yesterday we got suppper drunk and he was being very talkative and just said that if we live together he's scared he’d get bored of me and also where he would put his parents since they are coming to visit him and stay for a while. he also admited that since he even gets bored of his parents too so thats why.

i dont get it… maybe it was just drunk him but we tend to sleep together every single day. in the morning he admitted that he feels as though all his wardrobe will end up at my place too. he has his food in my refrigerator too Lol.

so im just very confused.

I don't know once again drunk him talking but we were kinda getting in the mood that day and i replied “do u not like me?” (he wasn't hard bc he was drunk) and he was like “i LOVE YOU” and i was like … you love me? and he was like i dont know. i dont even use that term with my parents. i dont know if i love you.

i really do like this guy and i can tell he likes me but im just so confused? we dont have any problems or anything either other than little dumb arguments that get solved within minutes lol.

It's only been 4 months, of course he doesn't know exactly how he feels, especially if he isn't used to being demonstrative with his feelings. Everyone gets a little scared at the prospect of how things will go when they move in together, and things will change. You're still in the honeymoon period and everything is wonderful. But when you start living together the dynamic of the relationship does normally change, because it now faces new challenges and responsibilities. I really wouldn't look too much into it at this stage, but 4 months is too soon to be considering moving in together.

I would not stress it or push it. Give it time. 4 months is not that long honestly. Assume it was drunk talk... he's probably just coming to terms with the fact that he's really falling in love with you and doesn't want to mess it up.

Go easy, don't stress. I am sure he really cares for you and in his own time will come around. Of you're really happy with were you are right now in relationship count yourself very fortunate... only with time will truly know. So chill and go with it, if starts getting bored you will know.
