I was seeing a video about a boyfriend wanting to break up after his girlfriend posted private pictures online, embarrassing him at his workplace. Everyone at his job would talk about it.

To stop him from leaving, the girl proceeds on lying to him about being pregnant. The lie lasted for only 3 months and obviously he dumps her for good. What's the point of lying over something so obvious then he's going to leave her anyway?

Secondly, even if it was a real pregnancy why would any woman want a man that's only with her because of a baby, knowing very well he wanted to end things... basically only staying with her out of pity and for the baby?

They're stupid as fuck and think having a child will fix things.

My ex's eldest bro was baby trapped by his fucking crazy ex. She not only skipped her birth control, she poked holes in their condoms.

He loves his daughter, but it definitely fucked up his life (and his daughter's life - her mother is borderline neglectful and abusive and it shows).

It's disgusting behaviour and the people who do it should not only be ashamed, they should sterilize themselves. They're clearly not equipped to be parents.

Credit to my ex and his family, they do everything they can to support his eldest bros daughter. She's always noticably subdued and sad when she comes back from her mother's, but last I heard she was improving and the mother was in court for violating the custody agreement.

Fingers crossed she ends up with my ex's bro full time. He's an excellent father.

They mistakenly think a baby will magically fix all of the relationship problems. He’ll just turn into a responsible man, choose her and their new family, and stop all behaviors she dislikes.

Not that I believe in the stuff but I have been watching the travel channel for the past 2 years and one of the episodes was of him being "hexed" by a vengeful ex girlfriend who felt he shouldn't be happy with anyone else. The "hexed" house, wound up driving the new girlfriend and him apart as it was "too strong" for them to try and "fight back"

Since mainly men are the gatekeepers of commitment, the relationship goes nowhere if the guy wants to break-up. If he's just staying for the baby, it's a dead-end relationship that already died.

Having a child has actually saved some relationships. It's a form of living your life for something bigger than yourself. So even if he may have stuck around only because you had a kid, that's not to say that you would have repaired your relationship and actually had a better one long term because of it. That's obviously no guarantee, but it is a possibility

It seems like low self-esteem on her part. It's low to stay with a man that doesn't want her and is only staying because of a baby.
A relationship that resulted in a break-up is already dead. It's never going to process and if he's just staying for the baby; that's a dead-end.

yes but in the video, the boyfriend didn't seem like he was willing marry... not even with a baby. They would've been just staying as a couple. The girl is still losing there; she's still just a girlfriend and not wife. Nowadays many people can have kids without ever getting married.

It's dumb how certain women try to trap a man with a baby when the relationship is going south and he wants to leave. If a relationship isn't doing good, the man isn't going to propose. If he wants to break up, that means the girl already failed in his eyes; he won't ever see her as quality material... he won't promote her.
