My mom is angry at my boyfriend, how can I get them to make up?

A while ago, my boyfriend came around to my moms house. She made him burgers, which I thought were delicious. Turns out, later on he told me that they made him throw up. He then commenced to say’ I will make you better ones’. I was really offended that he would tell me that, and I told my mom. She is really upset , she took a big effort for him to tell me that he’ll make me better ones. How can I get them to be friendly again?
