My boyfriend gave me an F?

I'm IT personnel but My office sent us on training at the management firm he works at to learn some management skills.

Fortunately he was one of the facilitators. I didn't pay much attention during his class as I expected him to pass me.

First, he humiliated me and my friend for conversing in his class by sending us out for a while.

Then finally he scored me F and now I've missed the cash reward for that program.

He could have manipulated the scores but chose to make me fail. And he refuses to apologize.

Does this mean he does not love me as I thought?

Sound like to my you disrespected him in his own class. That he was there as a professional and you came in there looking for favoritism in a very unprofessional way. I mean its not everyone else there doesn't know your dating him, so you come in and don't take it seriously and are disruptive, while everyone else is expected to be professional and participate in a productive way.

If anything you owe him and apology for disrespecting him with your unprofessional behavior. I would be less concern about me not loving you as mush as I would be about you not giving me the equal respect that you would expect of him. It doesn't sound like you love him all that much and if you did you would apologize.

Honestly as a man you got to be very aware of equal opportunity and fairness in the work place, especially if he is a white guy. Anyone for any reason at any time can drop a race or sexual harassment compliant on you. So you got to stay professional at all times, especially if you work for a big corporation.

I worked in Amazon and you have no idea who could of been in that class, and if you're embarrassing him or disrupting his class he has to take a hard line stance against it because it could effect future opportunities for him. If he did nothing nobody would think less of you, but his professionalism could be called into question. Obviously you did something that nobody else in the class was doing... so dating him or not it should not be part of your thinking in the work place. You should stayed professional and acted like an adult instead of a highschool kid. He only reacted to you, so you have to take responsibility for your own actions.

Don't be too hard on yourself, relationships are tough, and work place relationships are especially tough. I mean there work Dave and home Dave... they at times are two different people. Because way act home you obviously can do on the work place and still maintain a level of professionalism. So when you date some one that you work with its like those two worlds collid.

Which is why I never date anyone from work. Personally, but don't be too hard on yourself. I mean maybe the guy over reacted a little... but still it sounded like on uncompromising situation.

I am glad to hear you Re evaluating this. When I mess up or things don't go the way I think they should I always try to look at things from the other person's prospective. In this situation yes your boy friend could have given you an A and let you talk and disrupt his class or training session. How would he look in his jobs eyes and what if he had to justify the scores he gave. Again nothing he did was in spite or was to hurt you. He was just doing his job.

I'm confused. How is it he chose to make you fail, when it was your own inattentiveness that led to your grade? You assume he should have passed you, no matter what you did. Don't you think that would put his job in jeopardy? It's time to grow up , be responsible and be accountable for your own choices. It's easy to lay blame (he humiliated me for disrupting his class and talking to my friend), but where do you expect blame, accusations and criticism to take you. You chose to fail. Accept responsibility for your choice, and learn from your experience.
