If something is too good to be true is that a red flag?

I've in a relationship for 6 months and even though everything is great so far, it looks too good to be true. It gets to the point I'm questioning if this is normal or not.

- He has bombarded my messenger with eternal love themes and romantic songs. Yes he is romantic but it seems too much that it just seems like things you see in movies.

- When I didn't reply back ASAP to all that, he questioned what happened and said it really doesn't take a second to reply something. Ummm... why would I be obligated to reply back so quickly and why so was he insisting for me to answer? I was working.

- When it was my b-day, besides giving my gift... he has wished me happy b-day on my FB many times, called 10 times, posted 15 different greeting themes on my page and 3 different songs. Umm isn't that too much? When it was his b-day, I didn't write on his FB... I called him once and went to his house with a gift.

If something is too good to be true is that a red flag?
