We got into a argument after he got home
From work because I told him he hurt my feelings because he said I was smothering him. When we aren't arguing he tells me how much he enjoys my time and always complain if I go into a different room in our house for more than 15 minutes he left around 6 and went to his cousins house I called him around 9 and he said he's tried of arguing with me and hung up I called him a hour later because he still haven't come home and he did not answer he told me he was sleeping in his car tonight and would call me Tomorrow I asked him to pick up the phone so that I know he's really in his car he wouldn't do that do he need space or is he cheating? He cheated on me once before

Can’t force him to talk to you, even if you live together. He needs space sometimes too, so give him that and find something to preoccupy your time. Clinginess can be so suffocating.

Also you need to either move past him cheating or leave him, but that behavior of needing to know his whereabouts every second otherwise you’re anxious and panic is soooo toxic and unhealthy. For you both.
