Women will cry and fight for the relationship during it, but men only do this after the relationship is over. True?

I've seen it happening time and time again. A couple is having a lot of problems, fights, issues and the woman will want to talk all the time, express her feelings, try to work things out and be called 'crazy, annoying, to emotional'. She will cry, be in a very bad mood all the time, and the man will wonder "why does she behave this way? Why can't she just be happy and calm like she was in the beginning?".

Once she gives up and leaves, the man will feel at peace for a moment, but after some time, he will realize that she was just trying to fix the relationship and will go after her, sometimes even beg for her back.. That's when he wants to talk things out.

What do you think about this and why does this happen? Note that it's not all man or woman, but this happens in most cases.
