Ex is not sure if he loves me but wants to do everything with me, what does this mean?

We were together for 6 years, and kind of broke up months ago. The day we decided to break up we saw a therapist to help us figure out our feelings and afterwards he said that he might just need a break and asked if when we're ready to try again. He says he just wants to think of me as a friend for the meantime. But pretty much after the first month of us not dating and being on a break we're seeing each other as much as before, and he keeps saying that he wants to see me more and wants me to move in with him when his lease is up, and will send memes and say stuff about wanting kids with me and to marry me. This is messing with my head a lot and I don't know what to feel, what does all of his mixed messages mean?

Basically he’s asking you to wait around until MAYBE one day he will be ready. In the meantime you can live with him, and give him all the benefits of a girlfriend without committing. To me, that’s what matters right now. Not him wanting to live together or fantasize about a family... none of that matters when he still wants to be a single man. If I were you I would stop letting him use me and leave.

A man who loves you is SURE he loves you... at least if he's had a broken heart earlier in life and realizes what love really is.
