We can have a hard time finding our partner too.

Before meeting my now fiance, I was struggling too. I had to weed out several men that either found waiting till marriage unbearable, believe in living together first, one that said marriage was just a piece of paper, one that didn't want kids, one that was into clubs every weekend, etc. I found him by random chance at a supermarket (after a female friend stood me up) when I wasn't even looking.

Many men seem to think you have things so easy in the dating and relationshp world. Really do you? I had a hard time.

Oh and I also dumped a guy with a high sexual count too. The amount of guys I had to weed out (reducing my dating pool) was overwhelming at one point. It was easy for me finding a like-minded partner either.

Notice how what you were listing were just a few of all the guys you had as options, dated, and were able to dump. You got to try out one option, decide if he was a good fit or not, then move on to the next one. That is totally the opposite of the experience of most guys. Most guys don't have options to choose from. They work ridiculously hard to just get 1 girl, and many guys don't even have success in doing that. I can describe this in more detail if you'd like. And feel free to PM me about my own dating experience and that of my male friends and relatives versus that of my female friends and relatives to give you a better idea.

Also keep in mind that it sounds like you are a high quality girl, and the difficulties you went through are average for high quality girls. Girls who don't just have sex with anyone are rare and extremely valued by men as relationship material, so almost all men want that girl. But the bads guys want her for the wrong reasons and must be weeded out (like you did). But girls who aren't as great actually have an easier time dating than you, believe it or not, at least until you get to nasty girls (they have a terrible time, but it's mostly their own fault). For instance, if you just had sex with all of those guys you mentioned, you would've had a much easier time dating. But you are better than that, so you deserve guys who are better even though that can be harder. My sister had to go through a terrible guy before she met her husband.

But I think you might not be considering how good guys like your fiance snatch up girls like you as soon as they meet them, while bad guys run through all the other girls. It leaves almost no good options for most guys, and they have to weed through a lot worse than you've had to before maybe, hopefully finding a good match.

Good point. Yes both gender have their own difficulties finding a partner in different ways. I also had to weed out men that were ok with just a relationship and living together but no to marriage. The interesting thing is I met my fiance at a supermarket by random chance. I was suppose to go to an arts museum with my female friend and she stood me up and the rest is history. I think it would be great if more women were to do the asking out but not many will do. That must be frustration for you men, I know... always have to be the one introducing yourself and asking her out on a date. And the odds of finding a good girl now have to be decreasing rather than increasing, right? They are all being snatched up by other guys. For a man, I think you can still find good girls even when you're older. You don't have a biological clock (limited time to have kids) like we do so age isn't that much of an issue vs a woman your age not finding a good man.

She was sure she'd have it easy as a man - after all, she was a woman, so of course, she would know what women wanted from a man and would be able to lock them right in, right? Except, that's not at all how it went. How it actually went is that she ended up with serious mental health problems that ultimately led to her suicide.

Again, this is not to say that it's a walk in the park for women - it isn't. Women absolutely DO have to work at it, and they MUST vet the men they are interested in, and they have to work against their feelings (which are almost always attracted to the hot/popular bad boys) and use their logic and reason if they hope to avoid being used - and women really struggle to deny their feelings in favor of logic.

But, except for those top 10% men (the hot/popular bad boys), it's INCREDIBLY difficult for most men to find a partner, ESPECIALLY for a serious relationship - because modern women (as opposed to traditional women) have NO INTEREST in what men want in a woman for a serious relationship, and have no intention of providing him with any of those things except sex. And roughly half of men can't even get that.

The original experiment was to experience "male privilege", but she was shocked to experience what men actually deal with, and the indifference the world has to men's issues and suffering. As a woman, she'd always had people ask how she was doing, take an interest in her when something was wrong, etc., and when living as a man, NO ONE CARED and no one made an effort to see how she was doing. She attempted to date and was horrified how women treated "him" - even the ones who weren't in any way mean - they were just indifferent. She felt tragedy and personal guilt about that, that she could never shake, even after years of in-patient mental health care. Her experiment lasted 18 months in 2004-2005, and she'd been back living as a woman ever since then, but her revelations were so disturbing she couldn't cope.

Personally, I think whether it's easy or hard is 100% up to the mindset of the individual. Yeah, I had to weed out some guys before found my husband. Was it hard though? No, not really at all. Talking to someone isn't hard, in my opinion. Meeting up at a restaurant isn't hard. Letting someone know that you two just aren't compatible is it hard. Now you can choose to do things that make it harder, like letting yourself get emotionally involved too quickly, or taking rejection personally, or stressing out over not finding exactly what you want as soon as you want. But the fact is, you don't have to do any of that stuff. Dating can be as easy as you want. It's all mindset a choices.

What his social media picture say ahout him? Does he look like a partier?

Who he hangs out with can go too. Do they look like party animals?

Is he more extroverted or introverted?

Does he seem like he has a purpose in life?

It's far easier then women tend to think.

Women can absolutely struggle with finding a partner, but I think women also make it harder than it needs to be. It makes sense that they do it though. Men don't realize the pressure women experience to "get it right" on a super short timeline when it comes to dating. Like, it's not just finding someone you can work with. It's finding someone you vibe with, and can trust longer term to support you and not royally fuck you when your best years are behind you. And realistically, you have to figure out how to do that before your mid 30s.

Yes indeed. Now that I'm engaged and our wedding is set for March 20 (I'll still be 24 since my b-day is on April 7), I calculate I'll have my first child at age 25-26, my 2nd at age 28 and final one in my early 30's. I would've already used my fertile years and I can later focus on perhaps writing a novel, working on getting my Master's or Ph degree (proceed on expanding my education; I just have a bachelor's at this moment). But at least I've focus on the main priority first. The others can wait for later.
Personally (not offense to other women) but I find it pointless to just live together with a boyfriend for many years and not getting what it's important, commitment and kids. By the times those women that remained ''forever childless girlfriend'' figured out the man isn't ever proposing, they are nearly 30 by then and have to start all over; they've wasted their years for nothing.
I tend to be good with math (always was... I had A's in all math classes) and maybe my flaw is analyzing too much. I tend to apply more logic into things (ex: risks vs benefits) than emotions and feelings. I think my brain is wired a bit differently, more into the logical side.

If I were to want a boyfriend, the list is still longer.
However, once I mentioned marriage, the list gets shorter. Once it's specified to waiting till marriage (no cohabitation unless engaged at least), then it becomes a very short list. What was 100 men on the line, gets narrow down to maybe 5 remaining men on the line.
