I have bad experience of long distance relationship, I am from Pakistan and the girl is American national but in Nigeria, we were in relationship for 5 years, we both saved for her travel but 2 times she was not successful, one she met accident why going to airport, second time her mother died, so our relationship ended without meeting,
It works if they have the ability to travel. If not and there is very little facetime if any at all, it doesn't work. And if they are not contacting you in 1 to 3 weeks, consider the relationship dead.
It can work if you’re able to see her at least 2-3 times a year but since you haven’t met her in person after two whole years, this is probably not going to work out.
Well, according to research, long distance relationships have a 58% success rate, so you're wrong on that one.. I don't get how someone that ignorant can be an influencer
@AuroraBorealis20: What a sunny personality you have. I’m sure you noticed that the survey conducted was not „research“ and was not independent. Hardly something to hang your hat on. But a brilliant genius like you knew that already, right?
Well, Einstein a survey is a kind of research... So yeah if you're going to be so meticulous, there have been many surveys on the same topic. Google is your friend buddy
@AuroraBorealis20: All a survey is is the collection of data. It may be part of a research process, but it wasn’t even that in this case. And you’re ignoring who the survey was for and who they surveyed. Its not research.

I don't even like being with someone in a faraway neighborhood let alone country. I'm too distrustful and suspicious for that.
Good point, but I think that's more of a "you" point and not a "me" point.
Nope

Do you want a real girlfriend, or an imaginary girlfriend?

Does either of you plan to move? Honestly, if you aren't considering moving to the other country in the future then your relationship will fail.
If you know for sure within 6 months to 1 year you guys will be together, then yes.
If you stay apart for more than one year then most likely it won't work.
My best friend married her long distance boyfriend. They are happily married with a baby now
It won't work unless there is a plan of one of you moving to the others country
If the two of you are not meeting each other then it's a waste of time
one of u wil have to sacrifice ur life and move to the other side
Not unless your dick is thousands of miles long.
^this dude really needs some p*ssy.
You're not wrong.
I know going into it it's just going to be for a few weeks.
It can as long as you keep the line of communication open.
International relationships hardly ever work out. Some barely make it when they live cross country.
I will never understand long distance relationships
You wind up having a relationship with your phone, not the actual person
Nobody here can tell you whether it works for YOU.
I dated someone in america for a year it lasted until she went radio silence.
It usually doesn’t work

Whose duplicate account are you?
@AuroraBorealis20 It’s a goddamn study of only 1,000 people and the goddamn article said success was about as probable as a flip of a fucking coin.
Great odds!
Fucking morons. 🤦♂️ Goddamn...
