Why are more people single these days than say our parents generation?

Nowadays it's not uncommon to see people single well into their 20s, 30s, and 40s compared to 30 years ago when most people got married in their 20s. What do you think has contributed to the increase in single people?

So many factors. Cultural, reliigous, media, liberative and more. But the absolutely biggest one?

Entertainment. Honestly, if we remove the easily accessible fun people would marry a lot more. So get rid of games, series, books, novels and whatever else is mainstay entertainment to people and they will raise families out of pure boredom.

There's little understanding or value placed on commitment, stable "predictable" relationships, being uncomplicated. The emphasis has shifted to self-gratification, my needs/wants, not seeking to be responsible for another... in fact the buzz word " narcissistic" seems to describe the majority🤭.

Ironically, most want to in a relationship but on their terms and with their high expectations. A whole shakeup in thinking woule be fitting...

If we had the internet in the old days, the statistics could be the same.

Relationships were not as hard as they are now because of the internet.

Telephones were different in the olden days. The phone stayed home so you had to be home to use it.

Ask men and women alike and this will be thier response. Well, that's not a good start, or any start for that matter. Everybody wants to take and nobody wants to give. Well, why waste someone's time if this is how you feel. It's better they not get married.

A certain small hat wearing tribe introduced to the west the destruction of the family unit. They pushed women to get careers in do more often then not do nothing jobs. and to sleep around well into their mid thirties and used their strangle hold on western politics, media and educational system to vilify and shit on the straight men on native (or nation founding) in western nations.

Get rid of social medias, worthless labels (SJW), teach kids how to be decent people with values and responsible from an early age, stop cohabitation, make owning a house cheaper, don't give anyone monetary incentive, etc.

Do all that and we'll likely have the old culture of family values and commitment.

Men no longer want to get married because for men it is too dangerous and women avoid marriage or at least avoid a lot of men because they can't find any men that they think are good enough for them
