Am I horrible for not wanting my boyfriend to go clubbing?

I’ve in the relationship for 4 years now and we’ve only gone clubbing together a few times. I’ve never liked clubbing as I feel like it’s a big thing for singles and all I’ve ever heard on is hitting on story’s and stuff like alcohol and people out to get sex ain’t a good mix if your taken. I don’t want my partner around that and I admit I’m abit insecure but am I horrible to ask him not to go alone unless i go with him. We’ve had arguments over this as he wants to go alone with friends. I do trust him but I have this thing in the back of my head that keeps thinking of the worst.

Yes very intimate. He just grew up in a very strict family so has never gone with Friends clubbing much so he says he doesn’t want to not make memories. Which I kind of understand but at the same time I feel if it’s hurts me and we’ve been together so long it should be respected.
