Most relationships fail because the other party isn't clear about expectations.

Take cheaters for example -- most people are too lazy to define cheating and train their partner what the punishment is for cheating. So, people end up getting heard because of unclear rules and expectations.

That being said, wouldn't you feel loved if your partner gave you a video explaining the code of conduct? It's like saying "Hey, I want you to stick around for a while and follow these rules."

Unless you're watching the video TOGETHER and also discussing its content while watching, it's secondhand. You want a DIRECT discussion. It's not like talking about a movie you've both seen. This video concerns your lives and how you'll treat each other.
