For me, it was today -
I was running by the lake with my best friend and when we were coming back, we were approached by a foreigner. It’s really uncommon to see a foreigner here, so they are glad to see you and always approach you.
This guy was a scientist, professor in some kind of field I couldn’t remember, to say easily he cures cancer but I don’t know which technology he uses. So, we talked about a lot of things.
And then he asked what we do there, since we both were not interested and didn’t want to have any hard feelings involved, my friend lied she’s married and I said I’ve got a boyfriend.
He then, told us a bit from his experience of living in China. He said girls will be lucky to get Chinese guys cause Chinese men pamper their women and make them feel like a queen and they are exceptionally caring and like spoiling the women they are with. That’s true.
The way my ex fiance treated me I genuinely believed I was an angel or a queen or a goddess, because that’s how he treated me and spoiled me.
He then said that, on the contrary - because Chinese men are so caring, Chinese women are used to being spoiled and they are tough in relationships because they usually like taking but not giving.
We talked for about 40 minutes while walking and It was really interesting for me to see the perspective of a foreigner man living in China.
