Relationship deal breaker or not?

Out of curiosity who would consider bad behavior from their new significant others dog a deal breaker?
As in bad behavior I mean if you go to stand up from the couch the dog runs over and growls like it’s gonna bite.
Or when you go to leave they always have to hold the dog so it doesn’t try to bite you on the way out.
Or when it lays in bed if you or her accidentally kick the dog by turning over it growls.

Personally I’m not a fan of the behavior and I would defend myself if bit/attacked and idc what the significant other thinks I clearly pick myself over a dogs life and I also think that aggressive behavior that happens for literally no reason is a huge turn off and thinking of the future you could not have a baby around that.

My tutor had one of those yappy dogs that just yap yap all the time.

That thing was major horny for me. I couldn't just chill anywhere in my tutor's house because that thing was constantly trying to have sex with me. I had to sit Indian style in my seat because that little dog would try to hump my leg.

It was bad too... that dog would be leaking baby gravy and it circled me like a shark. My tutor would play dumb about what her dog was doing, but she had to of known... her little dog was a child predator.

No, I wouldn't consider it one. I've had dogs my whole life and have a thing for badly behaved dogs because then I get to see how I can change that behavior.

And it would be a good opportunity to show my guy how to curb that behavior too.

I've learned plenty of tricks over the years on how to get a dog to like you. First, feed them. Second, take them on walks. Third, get them a toy. So they associate you with good things.

I don't know much about this situation, but it doesn't sound like the dog likes the person it growls at. Not one bit. And it could be the vibe the person gives off, too.

No it’s definitely not me lol if sitting on a couch and going to stand up causes a dog to charge at you and growl that’s definitely a behavioral problem with the dog.. I have literally never done anything to it besides pet it. She has spent thousands almost 10g trying to train this dog and has told me when people leave it will try to attack them or if you make a sudden movement or I guess movement at all. I have two pits I got off the streets that were aggressive and in survival mode and in three months they are literally 100x different just with my personal training no professionals. Also she got her pit mix as a rescue. I wouldn’t break up with her over the dog unless it attacks me and I defend myself and she sided with the aggressive dog then there is going to be a big problem. I don’t think a dog should attack anyone for no reason at all and most dogs do love me. But I do see where you are coming from and I agree with that

Also sorry to write so much but to add to it she did say there is no way she would trust that dog around kids or ever even leave it alone with a kid

I personally wouldn’t break up with her over the dog but if we had a baby I just couldn’t trust it and it would have to go it a pit mix. I have two pits but they lick you to death and this is after she spent thousands to try and train it lol

Definitely. If someone doesn't make their dog behave then I sure as hell don't want to consider having kids with them.

Depends on the kind of behaviour. A dog being a dumbass is not deal breaker behaviour. A dog shitting all over the place, and being aggressive af would be.
