Am I clingy and possesive honest opinions?

I’m 20 and the guy I’m seeing is 26. I’m 21 in a few days. Today he hasn’t replied to my text in 9 whole hours? I’m really freaking out about this as the past 3 days he hasn’t really messaged or called much I feel a bit distant. He has got a lot going on but I can’t help but freak out. I feel like im putting in so much effort? Do I call him and ask where he is and what he’s doing or is this clingy considering he hasn’t opened my text? Stuff like this really gets to me I just feel like I’m getting taken for granted here? Or I feel like I should call him to see if he’s with another woman and to see if his phone goes through? Like all day today we’ve barley spoken. I know he’s got stuff going on but at least a phone call? I’m off work today so I’m also going a bit insane?

Depends on what the text was. 9 hours is a longtime. What time did you send it? What was the text was it important? I don’t know.

He’s completely opposite he’s not clingy at all. I don’t even really think im clingy 9 hours is a very long time to not respond if I did that to him hed freak out but he always does it to me. The text wasn’t too important it was just me asking what food he wanted me to order for the weekend

I did call and it sounded like he was out but he just seems moody that I even called him. I think he feels like I check on him too much, do I just distance myself and see if he callls

Yeah Asker 9 hours IS a long time especially if it’s important. Unless it was like nighttime or something like that or you knew he was busy.

I think you need to speak directly to him and ask him why and tell him how you feel

Well. You need to ask him if he feels that way. Checking on someone isn’t bad it shows you care for them. But… if he has a problem he needs to bring it up to you

I respond to texts about once a day. I'm busy. Typing on a phone isn't why I'm busy. Maybe he's just not a texter. Call him and see what's what.
